Gregory Hudson: The Sculptor’s Path Gregory Hudson always saw art as something to be built, not just painted. Born in Miri, Sarawak, he pursued Fine Art at UiTM, eager to create. In 2016, he began as a Junior Artist at Sanderson Group, shaping attractions for Movie Animation Park Studio. A year later, he joined PKNP, rising to Team Leader. But he wanted more. In 2019, he took a leap into freelancing, crafting sculptures and props across Malaysia. The freedom was rewarding, though unpredictable. In 2022, he joined Pico Play for the Gamuda Splash Mania Waterpark, but returned to freelancing after the contract ended. By 2024, he was back at Pico Play, leading the Discovery SEV650 project. His dedication earned him a promotion to Artist Supervisor, and by year’s end, he was sent to Riyadh for three months. As the desert sun cast shadows over his latest creation, Gregory knew—his journey was far from over.
